School and Education - A synopsis

LEARNING IDEAS TO KIDS  

Learning through Moral Stories:

Learning is an important process in everybody's life.  It needs analysis of facts and figures through a variety of mediums.  This learning process starts from the very beginning of the life cycle.  For example, when we see films we can observe that some great moral stories hidden behind every film.  Such moral stories may or may not impact our lives but the fact is that the moral of the story will benefit our life one way or the other during the life cycle.  

Learning through Life Experiences :

Another point which is having a higher impact on studies is how we approach things and actions.  Our actions may be of higher importance to some other person or persons, the person who has much real-life experience can contribute and may make a difference in others' lives.  

Learning from Real-Life Stories:

There are so many stories known to us and also highly beneficial, which we can observe in our surroundings.  For example, we can observe some important and vibrant personalities who have put a lot of effort into achieving their life's objectives whether it has financial prudence or not, such stories or their actions are of high importance to us to watch out for, to lead our life and achieve success in life.

The day when someone starts dreaming of becoming big, versatile, and magnificent, the approach of the person will become a torch and the light of the torch will guide the person to move through the right path to pick his choice to convert the dreams into reality.  In the beginning, there may be hurdles to overcome even though when the person reaches the middle he will become half satisfied and again travel to reach the final objective. After reaching fifty percent of the journey the person can feel positive vibrations of reaching the right direction and finally touches the overall success.  But every action or inaction may result in positive or negative results, finding the right path is important enough to make ourselves fit into the perfect place.  

Learning by Following Footprints:

We have heard about many businessman who has achieved the highest feet in life through their continuous efforts and we can also make our way through their footsteps.  This requires observation of life and no other things are required and there is no spending for this learning process just watch out for their actions and prosperities and these lessons will guide us to establish our life. We can start a business and lead the business in our own ways to become or stand out from others who are doing the same business study and become an IAS Officer or even you can become a good farmer to touch success in life.  Through positive actions, anybody can achieve success in their life.

Learning from Nature :

Learning is a continuous process in the life of any creature.  As human beings, birds and animals are also equally interested in learning. Our whole world is engaged in the process of learning through various methods.  Human beings, select schools, colleges, and other types of legal orientation methods but on the other hand, the animals and birds do not have any such facility but they themselves teach their younger ones how to behave and act in difficult conditions in their life span.  All these processes and activities are related to making life possible in the world. 

Learning to Become a Job Aspirant :

A candidate searches for a job after his graduation degree and with this search, he or she will be appointed by some Companies for which he or she will be paid remuneration.  The remuneration is used for their daily bread.  

From the above point, we can understand that practical learning is equally important with theoretical knowledge.  Today there are many opportunities through IT companies to learn coding classes from early childhood education, therefore, the process itself starts from a younger age.  It is very easy for young children to understand the methods of learning and the curriculum itself.  

Education Scenario :

Early Childhood Education:

Kinder Garden :

This education is famously known as KG education which means Kinder Garden education or Nursery Education.  The KG Education of a child starts from a very early age say from the age of three and continues for two years maximum.  This two-year education provides the child with a very basic education about school life.  He or she starts sitting for two to three hours continuously and comes with books and carrying a bag, takes food in time, understands the new environment, plays with other children, learns behavioral patterns, learns some basic English or Language Vowels, Learn about Fruits and Vegetables.  

Who will guide at KG:

A teacher with a KG education qualification will teach the children on a daily basis.  They will try to teach the etiquette and behavioral patterns.  

Learning at Home:

Teachers may or may not assign homework but the parent should teach the child on their own to have more understanding and remember the learned things by repeating them at home.  How to dress properly is also an important aspect of the learning process.

Outcome :

Basic Learning about many things in the life of a human being. The Ayah or the cook will prepare some food for the children and do their essential activities as and when required.  Providing food at the KGs is very much required because some children may belong to poor families and medium-family children will bring their own food even though they also prefer to get food from the KG itself.  The teacher who teaches the kids should bear a moral character so that she can guide and lead the children properly. The children will be able to become talkative learn some good habits and also acquire some basic understanding about the language and school life. There are chances that children may get into bad habits or someone may misguide them so it is necessary for the parents to take note of each and every habit and involve themselves in bringing and uplifting the child.  This process has two guides one mother and the other teacher.

This stage of Schooling is also known as Pre-School.

School Education:

School Education starts with 1st Standard and this is the first step in the life of a child as a Student.  Early childhood education cannot be considered the starting point of education because, at a very tender age, it is not possible for the child to understand too many things, hacks, and attitudes, therefore, real education starts from the 1st standard onwards.  

The very system of School Education has also been divided into four say Pre-primary, Primary, Secondary, and Higher Secondary.  

Pre-Primary 1 to 4: Pre-Primary Education is the starting point in a School for a child to grow their world.  Each and every child is admitted to a School to learn new things, behavioral and cultural etiquette.  While going to School they see and experience so many things in their surroundings which are all part of the learning process of their life.  Some Children are interested in sports activities rather than studying, and they may change their ways to become good sportswomen or sportsmen.  Some other children may be more interested in class lessons and they can continue their learning process till they reach the Primary stage without struggle.  Some other children may get involved in cultural activities like singing, music harmonium, or tabla. From the time of pre-primary education children normally get involved in many additional sports or cultural activities in addition to the normal class learning process.  There are not too many subjects but in English medium English language, Maths, Social Science and Science subjects are common.  The books required for learning are to be brought self, along with textbooks there will be notebooks for daily writing.

Primary 05 to 07: From Primary Section students start learning a Second language in addition to the above subjects in Pre-primary.  At the primary education stage students start learning at a more speedy way and advanced stage.  The teachers are also trying to complete the curriculum within the stipulated time frame.  Drawing and Music classes will also be there in addition to the Drill period.  There are options for 2nd language like Hindi or Sanskrit.  Some children may opt for Sanskrit and some other children may opt for Hindi as their second language.

Secondary -08 to 10: 

Secondary Education starts with a more serious nature and the lessons are somewhat tough, Science will be distributed into Biology, Physics, and Chemistry and Social Science will become Geography and History.  At the end of the 10th, there will be a Board Exam (Questions are normally prepared by CBSE) to test the students to reach to 11th Standard.

Higher Secondary - 11 to 12:

Higher Secondary Education stands out without achievements in life because the students will reach a stage where their future will be decided, this is a normal saying.  But the students do not want to be panic and what really needed is to understand life and how life can be achieved because not any exam decides your future.  You are your own boss and your future is decided by you only.  You are free to attend exams of your own choice and can take more time to complete the study if the student is unable to finish the lessons within the time frame they have abundant opportunities in the world.  So students do not stop or block themselves in their life journey anywhere due to failures because success comes after too many failures in life.  But this does not mean that the duties you have to do in time should not be done in time and priority and care should be given to complete the lessons in time. 

Graduation :

Admission to Colleges:

It has been in practice that after completion of HS Education students are searching for a good college where they can get into and start their college life.  But most of the time the students are not getting seats in their nearby colleges and they want to depend upon the colleges situated far from their permanent residences.  But today there is no difficulty as such to travel by trains and other means of transport and by way of using PG or Hostel accommodation one can reach the college far from their own places.  There are educational institutions where only boys or only girls colleges are available and the admission can be taken as per the choice of the student.  

Normally admission to college is done through merit and tests conducted by respective colleges or universities but there are some central exams like JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main and Advance for Engineering admissions in top colleges in our country.  But the choice of education is different say becoming a Doctor by doing MBBS then the alternative exam is NEET(National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test).  Further, there are other options like legal education by doing LLB or CA or ICWA or Company Secretaryship.  Some of the States in India are also conducting their own Engineering Entrance Exams like GUJCET(Gujarat)/KCET(Karnataka)/KEAM(Kerala) are some of them.

Post Graduation:

Post Graduation is also important when students are aspiring to become Professors or any other area of career.  Normally Post Graduate courses are PG -M.Sc., M.B.A., M.A., M.COM, and LLM there are many other courses that are not covered here.  

M.PHIL OR PHD

After Post Graduation the student aspirants can learn further for Doctorate or Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Philosophy, which will be required for becoming Professors in Colleges or for Research Work.  As such Post Graduation is sufficient to get a good job.
